Because most fans are bandwagon fans. Most people don't want to pay attention to something that doesn't vicariously make them feel better.

rockets have some of the worse fans period. everyone was loving the rockets the same time last year, and now that times are bad, everyone switches up like a female.

so you want people to be so ignorant of all the problems in this organization and be like i love gundy no matter what moronic thing he does..even if he plays bowen over swift..or refuses to do defend 3's against the suns.

of course a winning team has less complaining fans. but during loses people are going to speak their mind.

So I am assuming that you believe that we should think everything is fine and that our team will miraculously get into the playoffs and win the championship right??? There are some bandwagon fans, but I have been a rockets fan for 20 years and go to as many games as I can every year. I have a right to be upset with what the team is putting on the court. I am not happy with what is going on in this orginazation and am very worried about the future.

The games are simply hard to watch. We can't shoot and we are one of the most boring teams in the league. I like to watch fun basketball and this is not fun basketball it is grind it out and hope not to lose. We are over the luxury tax and have guys like Swift, Howard, Alston with many years left on their contracts so I am not sure if the Rockets can get anything done personnel wise to make this team a championship contender in the next couple of years. T-Mac is a very uncertain thing because if he comes back at anything other than 100% we won't be winning a championship anytime soon.

We are some of the biggest Rockets fans you will find and we just want to see a quality product on the court. We have not made it out of the first round of the playoffs in 10 years! I am upset and have a right to be. That does not change the fact that this is my team. I love this team and want to see them succeed. You need to worry when people are NOT on here complaining because that means no one cares.

True "bandwagon" fans have been gone from this forum for a long time. Nobody but the hardcore are still interested enough to post. By implication you misuse the term. What you are saying is that people who criticize the team are "bandwagon" fans. You are wrong. Only true fans care enough to hold the organization accountable.

I am a proud bandwagon fan. I only jumped on the bandwagon after they moved here from San Diego. Before that, I couldn't have cared less about the Rockets.
