ESPN Insider -A long-shot possibility is Francis returning to Houston

I can't get the whole arcticle from ESPN Insider...Can someone please provide the full article?

Now A Matter Of When Francis Will Be Dealt
    16th February, 2006 - 3:20 pm
Chris Sheridan/ESPN - It now appears to be a matter of when, not if, the Magic will trade him. New York and Denver are the leading candidates as of now, but Minnesota is trying to engineer a three-team deal that would put Francis alongside Kevin Garnett and Ricky Davis.

A long-shot possibility is Francis returning to Houston. Wednesday night's Orlando-Detroit trade removed the possibility of Kelvin Cato going to New York in a Francis trade, but the Knicks can still do a Hardaway-Francis deal by removing Jamal Crawford from the equation and substituting Trevor Ariza and rookies David Lee and/or Nate Robinson.

explain how he'd be a good shooting guard for us? when he needs the ball and needs dribble-time to set up his shot?

to me, he's worse than sura in this offense. worse height, worse D, same rebounding, around same scoring, passing probably similar

The details are probably in the body of the article, which you need Insider to read.

Hmm, that's odd that they say it's a 'long shot' but give no possible ways it can be accomplished, yet go into detail about other teams. His contract would make it impossible for him to come here...I think this can be racked up as another ESPN writer talking out of his anus.

I don't know why he would even bring it up if he hadn't heard something.

There is also a possibility that francis could be traded to USA Men's Olympic Curling team for a 2007 Hank "Big Stones" Roberts and a 2nd round draft pick.

I say get both Francis and Cato back since they both seem to be 'available'. They happen to be able to play the two positions where we need help most. :D

    Rafer
    Francis
    Tmac
    Cato
    Yao

a shooting guards responsibility is to score, francis can do that,
this year wesley has been doing awesome, but he is getting old and i dont know if we can resign him next year
francis gives us a 3rd scorer, and he will not be the PG we have rafer

that said we will not be getting him because of his contract

Orlando Sentinel and ESPN.com are reporting the Orlando Magic might be close to completing a trade for guard Steve Francis.

ESPN says the Magic and Pistons are discussing sending Detroit's Darko Milicik and Carlos Arroyo to the Magic for Kelvin Cato and a first round draft pick. However, with the Magic headed toward a lottery pick, they might not want to pull the trigger.

Another deal may also be on the table. ESPN says that scenario would send Cato and Francis to New York in return for the expiring contract of former Magic guard Penny Hardaway, along with Jamal Crawford and one other player.

Magic Assistant General Manager Otis Smith says the chances of trading Francis is “50-50.”

    EDIT:

There is also a possibility that francis could be traded to the USA Men's Olympic Curling team for Hank "Big Stones" Roberts and a 2007 2nd round draft pick.

no, thanks. he's an exceptional talent...that teams have a hard time finding a true position for within the flow of an offense.

Talk about a total anal rape if we were to end up with both Tmac and Francis.

a shooting guard's responsbility is to score, yes.. francis can do that, yes.

But francis cannot do that in this offense (without stifling tmac's offense)

    Right.

Only if Orlando takes nothing but cap garbage and no draft picks and we don't include Luther Head as a throw in.

And then we have a chemistry problem.

The bonus would be if we then signed Kelvin Cato for the minimum, and then Sam Cassell, Robert Horry, and Cuttino Mobley (if he were a FA) signed in the off-season, thus completing the circle of returnees.
