I never miss a Rockets game because I have DVR. Now I find myself not even interested in watching the games anymore. Maybe because TMac and Yao are not playing! I find myself watching the Spurs play. Do any of you have the same problem and what is the cure.
Nope. I appreciate the way these guys play hard all game despite losing their top 2 players to injury. It may not be pretty, but they keep it close. Go Rockets!
I agree, it is these times that make a real fan. I've paid for my league pass and if the Roxs never win another game this year, I'd watch every single one. Guy like Deke, Wesley and J. Howard are doing everything they can to stay competetive and I love the fight they've shown.
the Cure... is to come to Clutch chat and play trivia against the likes of: Jeffster moes19 and xcomputerguy - who's really the dude from Jeopardy and of course, me. theSAGE
Sadly, that's always been the problem: a lot of Rockets fans are as fair-weathered as you are. Not only do I watch them still, nor only do I find myself much more involved in cheering them on and appreciating their heart and toughness that they're showing being so short-handed, but in fact I am going to be attending more games tahn I have so far this season, and I am going to cheer them on harder than I ever have. Times like these are a true test to your character as a Rockets fan, and if nothing else it's so much fun to root for a perennial underdog.
I watch the games but do other things at the same time like Clutchfans chat, and other cpu things. I don't know if I could just sit on the couch and watch the game straight through right now.
nah, i still watch every game or at least half of every game lol but yeah, i don't watch the games straight through as much as I used to in the beginning.
Wow, you just showed you're a bandwagon fan. This season is actually great b-ball compared to the 2001-2002 squad where Steve had those horrible migranes and some of our "key" players included T. Morris, Oscar Torres, Tierre Brown, Kevin Willis, Collier, Moochie, and the great Dan Langhi .
It's very hard to watch a whole Rockets game nowadays. I don't associate with any of the players. The team is so different now without some of the heart and soul that used to be the Rockets. I have attended 3 or 4 Rockets game this year and the empty sets around me are huge. No excitement cheering by myself.
It is tough, the Rockets are sitting on the bottom, maybe below bottom. I liked the last two games, they showed real heart. But losing gets old. I feel like a Hawks fan.
There is litte fun watching ugly, low-score and losing basketball. The attendance at the game proved it. Nobody should blame you. But Rox will get better, someday.
You have bandwagonitis...put on you rorckets hat, jersey, and paint your face red. Then chug three beers and burn four Spurs items...That should cure your illness
