damn #1: i almost forgot about this game while only thinking of nd/ohio st. damn #2: since it's the Cotton Bowl, it's at F'ing 10 a.m., which is just over 6 hours from now. no way i'm up in time. hopefully not much happens before i wake up. and i hope tech wins.

Nothing personal; my mom's an alum so I had to defend the family honor. Game should be starting right about now; good time to take off and drive through Dallas (among other things; I just happened to be going this way) while all the game traffic is at the game.
It's always interesting to see which coordinators have more of an impact at halftime. (IMHO, I impressed with the Tide's D but I don't think that they can keep Tech from making at least a couple trips to the endzone after the half, so it might not bode well for Bama that they could only score 7 in the first half) Great game.
Funny, if Isabel had not written anything in her post, I would have assumed that she thought the Tide were worth nothing more than to wipe her ass with. Maybe a buttered roll or a cinnamon roll would have been a better choice...

Now that I think about it. Remember the last time the Texans selected 1st overall? The Rockets did the same later in June. We selected that Chinese guy. I think in English I, they call it foreshadowing.

Bama defense is sick. Defensive backfield is awesome, because even when Hodges has had time to throw, he has often had no one to throw too. Looks like Hodges is probably out for the game...maybe they could put Robert Johnson(Converted WR) in at QB to make something happen with his legs?
