We will play much better than Saturday. The shock of T-Mac's injury will be worn off and the team will be prepared to battle without him. We should win this unless either SF or Dwight Howard have a monster game.

    The Stromile Swift watch continues.

    The David Wesley watch continues.

yao won't be facing fronting defense, so he should have a field day. JVG will be on their asses today, tomorow and tuesday up until tipoff. I hope head gets some playing time again because we'll need someone to try and stay with nelson.

    WIN

Yao controls the paint, Luther Head has a monster game by making 6/7 3 pointers to help the Rockets win.

Juwan Howard outplayed Dwight Howard and score 20+ points.

Yao has 33 points, 15 rebs, 9 blocks and 6 assists.

T-Mac miraculously healed so quickly in time to play the New Jersey Nets next Saturday.

    Rockets win.

Actually, I think all we need is for JVG to make sure Yao is rested for the 4th quarter. I think the difference last game was that Yao was tired and missed all those last shots. Orlando isn't much better than New Orleans. If everyone else repeats their level of performance we can win an ugly game. After Orlando though we play some tougher teams. Either DA or Wesley are going to have to start making some shots and Swift or Howard are going to need to play defense. Swift hasn't even been blocking anything, and that's supposed to be his strenght. What gives? It would also be nice to see Alston get a few more assists, but I don't know if that's because of him or people just aren't making the shots they should be.

    93 : 85 rox win!

yao's going to have another good game, only this time jvg properly rests yao so he's unstopable in the 4th. of course, jh, alston, jb, stro, head and others helped.

I wish T-Mac come back soon, and play Saturday against the Nets. It's the only time I get to see Rockets all year in person.

I just realized that Yao not only tied his career-high in blocks this Saturday, but was also only 1 shot shy of his career hight in field-goal attempts.

I predict Yao will either tie or break a career high this game (probably field-goal attemps) since he will continue to be agressive on both ends. And I am sure there will be no fight if he blocks SF's dunk. :)

Yao needs to step up big time in the next 3 weeks in order for the Rockets to win half of the games. He has to be a little assertive and imagine that he were playing the CNT. Go Rocs!

Easier said than done since he hasn't proved that he is the best player on the team. It would be much easier if he becomes the best center in the league.

I say we lose the next two and win the next 10. T-mac comes back and we win the next 2 games and then lose the next one.

WTF are you talking about. Without T-mac, Yao is obviously the best player on the team. And he was playing like it too. He was taking the shots that we needed in crunch time even if they weren't falling. And he's talked about stepping up his responsibility ever since he signed his max contract. Having Yao try to shoulder this team isn't going to be the hard part. The hard part is whether the team can get on the right page and build some chemistry on both ends of the court without T-mac. Letting a team shoot over .500 in the first half, and committing 17 turnovers isn't going to get it done against anybody. And even then we had a chance to win it, if Yao doesn't go cold at the end.
