It goes in reverse order to see has the first shot at claiming him off waivers.

    1. Houston
    2. Green Bay

It probably won't happen, but what would you think? Do it, don't do it?

    No way.

    1) The Texans have enough problems without bringing a proven cancer into the locker room.

    2) You could claim him all you want. T.O. would refuse to play 1 down for a team in our current position.

I love TO he's defintely in my top 5 favorite players.

But it wouldn't work in Houston. I mean if he had a problem with Garcia and MCNabb. It'd be pretty clear he'd have a problem with Carr.

But man TO and AJ that'd be a nasty 1-2 combo.

    But thats just a dream

I have no idea where TO will end up. I'm hoping Oakland or maybe Cinci. The last place I see him is Houston.

no one will pick him up
because they would have to pick up his contract
    and
    he wants another one
    So
Let him pass waivers then negotiate

I don't see how the Texans can pass on him. He's a cancer, ya so what? What's he going to do, ruin our great team chemistry and terrific start? Sign him up, shake things up.

Owens is never happy anywhere he plays. Can you imagine how much crap he would talk if he was stuck on the Texans. It would be a terrible situation for everyone.

I agree. Plus, it will help us determine if Carr has what it takes to be a quality QB. If he can't play well with TO and Andre Johnson on the field then we can move on.

Owens would never accept coming to a last-place squad, and it's far too clear to everyone that he's a cancer.

    do it!

Not like anything else has been working... we need another receiver badly. If it doesn't go well, just cut him.

If I am correct, if Texans claim him off waivers, they do not inherit the signing bonus. That means Texans would be able to waive him with no hit to the salary cap. Can someone else verify this?
