Yes, because we all know that you can't catch the flu if you are motivated enough.

You guys are on fire today.

And that's why I was pro Sammy (if they didn't want to roll the dice on a QB). Being 6-4 does not matter for a receiver and he was the "safest" pick in the draft regardless of position. And the 1st half of his rookie season has been just as good as AJ Green's rookie season and he has been hurt since pre season... And still ballin...

Maybe Clowney will work out. A lot of teams don't get an immediate return on their top pick investments but it was expected with Clowney because of the fan fair and hype. But there's still 8 games to go. I still believe the Texans wanted to trade out of the top spot but were probably asking too much in return for it.

It's not even flu season yet. He doesn't have the flu. People get the sniffles and they call it the flu.

Maybe he has an allergy problem. Ragweed has been bad.

Maybe it's a little diarrhea. Something I wouldn't want to have to practice with for sure. Hopefully the Pepto Bismol kicks in before kickoff.

The problem, as I have stated before, is that it is ALWAYS something with this guy. He has the worst luck of any player I have ever seen with stuff keeping him off the field. You just can't count on him suiting up any given week.

The fact that him playing last week was big news should tell you something.

Do you honestly believe Harrisment's frustration is just because Clowney is sick one time? There is context for his frustration that precedes the Texans even drafting the guy.

We didn't get a single starter from the 2014 draft. That is REALLY hard to do on a 2-14 NFL team with tons of holes. Not one starting player. Bye bye Rick. Say bye bye.

Brandon Brooks missed a game this season because of a stomach issue. Matt Schaub once missed a game due to a similar condition and no one questioned his toughness.

    It happens.

Also he hasn't been ruled out for this game so he may play. But right now a 100% Mercilus is better and probably more effective against a fast-paced Eagles offense than a 75% Clowney.

The concern isn't over him missing one game.
