The Seahawks need Okung and Giacomini back in a bad way. McQuistan was getting abused all night. Terrible O line play.

Ummm... no. What you want is more players like Dez. This guy was trying to pump up his teammates. And look at the casual reactions of the people he was talking with.

Look man, there's a reason Romo ain't win jack. Along with Garrett and the rest of the Cowboys. They lack that passion. And only Dez brings it.

It's insane the amount of moves a team can make when they aren't locked up by huge skill position contracts. Avril Bennett and Harvin and they still can do something.

Who's the second team? Geeze Seattle really going for it all this year. Wish our team was put together like that.

One trade made before the deadline:

Not that it matters for the most irrelevant team in football (Cowboys)...but some points:

1.) They published the supposed Dez rant on the sideline when he was talking to Romo and company. It was nothing but football talk about a play that happened. And, it sounded completely normal aside from the Dez head-bobbing that makes him look like a lunatic.

2.) Cowboys are injured left and right. Brian Waters...the guy who came out of retirement to try and help our line...is out for the season. He was helping solidify the line but that's the end of that I guess. Claiborne is injured yet again and expected to miss a few weeks. Wilcox still out. Church is banged up and likely to miss some games. Two rookie safeties left to play in games. The safety in the game on Detroit's final drive...out of position on the two key plays and had never played in a NFL game before his appearance. LOL. Probably expect to see Miles Austin, Demarco Murray, and Demarcus Ware back.

3.) General feeling is Cowboys offense has to control the team's destiny at this point given all the defensive injuries. The defense is a mess and isn't going to generate enough pass rush or have enough solid secondary coverage to hold leads. The healthiest area on the defense is the linebacker corps of Carter and Lee.

4.) Basically, Jerry thinks Cowboys are in good position at 4-4 with a chance to win the division. But, the reality is they will probably not win the division and, even if they did, then everyone knows their playoff chances are thin. This team is not going to win a Super Bowl or even a playoff game probably.

5.) There is rumblings on talk radio about blowing up this team for next season and starting over to rebuild a few seasons for another attempt at a run. But, with the cap issues ahead, the likelihood is we will lose a few key players and have to replace them in the draft. The team can't stay healthy at all regardless so who cares.

Bottom line...Jerry will be dead before Cowboys are relevant again.

I think it's way to early to say that. The Cowboys have 4 losses. One was ugly, but the other 3 of them are by a combined 5 points to teams that are a combined 20-4. If they really have a ton of health problems, and if those health problems improve, then there's no reason to think they are hopeless.
