How can people possible believe this stuff? You simply cannot add that much muscle in that amount of time, so either Jennings added a bunch of water and fat as well, or he's taking some kind of substance that's against NBA rules.

In any case, I'm not sure the extra size will help him, but at least he's trying!

No amount of muscle (real or imaginary) can make him a better shooter.

The NBA doesn't test for HGH and many other performance enhancing drugs from what I understand. Nothing to see here.

Jennings was 6'1" 169 pounds, how could adding bulk not help him? I'm sure it's not all muscle, but I'd bet a good amount of it is. Once the season starts NBA players shed weight like crazy. He'll likely shed what isn't muscle and play the season at around 175-177 or so.

He should be stronger going to the hole and be able to take more contact. I hope it works for him.

If you're skinny and the right body type it's actually not that hard to gain 25+ pure muscle and a tad of water in roughly five months.

He's 190 lbs on a good day? Lmbo. NBA needs to start an eating disorder support program.

It's more than possible without roids. Good diet, tons of workout. Remember that these guys have nothing else to do. Know a lot of people that gained comparable amounts in that time period.

Okay, first of all Jennings weighed 169 when he was drafted 5 years ago at age 19. You have to figure he'd already gained at least 10 lbs since then. And even if he hasn't, 190-169 = 21, so I'm not sure where the article's author is getting the "25 lbs" figure.

    Non-story.
