No, it will not be bundled in the sports package... the whole point with all of this is that it is not going to be relegated to a sports package.
So it sounds like Leila got the boot based on her Twitter tonight. So does that mean Adam is gone as well? I didn't care for Chen.
I'm in a similar situation here in the hill country NW of SA. I had FSSW (676) & FSSH (677). FSSH carried all the Rockets broadcasts. Last year during the LP trial week, LP carried home & away broadcasts of all 3 Rockets games played that week. So, I bit the bullet & bought LP. Much to my dismay, after the trial week, I could only get the opposition broadcast of Rockets games 75% of the time. I complained to Directv CS & was told that since Directv didn't have a contract with csn & LP was a Directv entity; I couldn't get any Houston broadcasts of Rockets games. I was so ticked off, that I called twice (about a week apart) to cancel LP for the 14-15 season. I was told both times that their computers were down & they couldn't cancel my subscription for the 14-15 season, but they would make a note of it. We'll see what happens there. I have Root Sports Pitt. (659), Rocky Mountain (683) & Northwest (687) listed on my Directv guide, but I'm not subscribed to any of them. It'll be interesting to see how much the new RT channel will cost. I'm sure you already know this surfguy, but unless you call to cancel LP, Directv'll keep charging your account for it each year.
If you live in the Houston area it would be part of your base DTV subscription. Out of market regional sports networks are extra $$.
Leila is sexxxxxxy. Been trying to @ her on Twitter. Ain't working. In other news, I'll welcome ROOT to Houston.
The only thing I care about is whether I'll have the Rockets on my TV. I have Suddenlink. Suddenlink, get Rockets games, or **** off. None of this other garbage means **** to me.
The employees had to know this was likely coming for a long while now. The financial picture presented in the court was simply that CSN was staffed at a level with expectations of much higher revenue (i.e., carriage deals at the level originally projected) than it has been able to generate. Even if CSN survived, it wouldn't be able to survive in the form originally envisioned.
