Thibs is awesome. I don't know how you can argue otherwise. If he was some horrible dictator, the Bulls players would have tuned him out just like many other teams have done over the history of the NBA.

Taj to the Rockets tho? Damn that's an intriguing trade scenario. He'd make us so much better.

The Bulls ranked #11 in 09-10 on defense under Del Negro. After Thibs took over in 2010, they became #1, #2, #6, #2 in Thibs first four seasons. Some people believe that the Bulls have been one of the top teams in the East mainly because of Thibs's coaching. I agree to a certain extent.

This season, after Rose got back full strength, they have dropped to #10 on defense so far. 10th is not bad, but not up to the bar set by Thibs in the previous years.

Taj to the Rockets would make them better, but they need a PG creator more than a PF upgrade. Gotta take some pressure off Harden.

It seems that years of the lime light on high market teams, has created a few divas.

Thibs needs to learn from Jason Kidd. Make Noah and Gibson take a written test on how to play defense.

I remember when Thibs gave McGrady microfracture surgery himself using a hacksaw and cordless drill during the flight home from a road game.

    This guy ruins careers!

There is a reason that many teams shied away from making Thibs an NBA head coach over the years even though he was clearly ready and capable. Thibs is a driven guy and always gives it 100% and he demands the same effort from his players. Not all players can handle that, especially over an extended period of time.

Thibs needs to take a page from Popovich's playbook. Pop also demands max effort from his players when they are on the court, but he understands to give the players some time off from time to time so they can refresh and recharge.

ROFL this is just a crazy trade and its also sort of bad when you consider that the Nets would be trading their starting C and arguably the 2nd or 3rd best center in the east for left overs.

nobody trades the 2nd best center in the East for flexibility. You get flexibility so that you can make a play @ a guy like Lopez lol
