Winston fell to 6, traded 1st and 2nd and next year's first. Pretty unrealistic that it would go down like that, but IMO and draft where we walk away with Winston is nice. I went heavy on speed. Nevertheless, I still graded worse than pretty much everybody else who has posted :(

The trades scenarios are pretty ridiculous.

Mariota fell to 16 and I gambled and traded down to 18 and he was still there. The Iggles offered a haul for the pick but I couldn't pass up the chance at Mariota. In real life I'm hoping they trade UP for him. Coming out of the draft with Mariota and Lockett is my dream scenario.

Got a 7782 with the Raiders yesterday. Of course I drafted 2 RBs and 3 WRs.

I've found that the Raiders are the easiest team to get a high score with.

More often than not you get an outrageous offer for the 4th pick. Cleveland gave me 12+19 and a 3rd rounder for it on the score I achieved yesterday.

Thats really what makes this game so unrealistic. You can start with a team with a high 1st round pick and easily acquire like 5 2nd rounders and multiple 3rd and 4th round picks.

    Well,

    1. Did Cleveland Draft A QB? I've noticed the Teams that are desperate for a QB are willing to give up high assets in order to acquire one.
    2. It is Cleveland lol. They don't exactly have the smartest front office in the League, so a move like that from them doesn't surprise me that much. Also, there are rumors swirling around about them trading up for Marcus Mariota anyways.

As far as the trade thing, I get what your saying. If you end up accepting every trade offer thrown at you, that could wind up being more than 15+ rookies drafted. To counter this from happening, A general rule of thumb I use for the draft is:

    1. Limit yourself to 12 picks and under. The most rookies in real life signed in a Draft class was 12 by the Kansas City Chiefs. Accepting every trade will most definitely get you past 12. Also take into account how much cap space a team has before getting too many rookies. Even though that isn't a factor with this simulator considering there is no actual contract info, A team like New England for example isn't going to sign 12 rookies because they are currently cap strapped at the moment. You just have to sometimes apply logic with the team you are drafting with. Most likely with the Raiders, signing 12 rookies isn't going to be a problem, but I could see it being one for a team like the Patriots or even the Texans.
    2. Try not to trade with Division or Franchise rivals. I will seldom trade with any AFC South teams because I don't see the point in making your rival better. Same applies with the Cowboys. Try not to trade unless you know your probably committing highway robbery on them.
    3. Try not to trade back past the 4th-5th. I mean you can, but honestly, whats going to be the huge difference between moving a high 6th rounder for 2 more later 6th rounders or 7th? I typically reason that the talent you find in those rounds isn't going to be more than just depth, so there is no point trying to really trade for more later picks unless your just deadest on drafting a specific prospect or position because of dire need.
    4. Just like the people that catch silder-itis in Madden 15 because they wan't the gameplay to be "perfect", try not to apply the same rhetoric in the simulator. It isn't a perfect simulation, and you should take it with a grain of salt. Like I said, http://fanspeak.com/ontheclock/ does have a good simulator with a variety of draft boards, but it lacks the bulk features like trades, etc, unless your willing to go premium for them.
