Back then instant replays were not recorded via chip or flash or anything remotely digital. It was all on video tape and or film. Those Pizza Hut instant replays were much more work due to this with the rewinding and preserving precious analog tape.

 

I remember seeing madmax drive his porch down 59 southbound like maniac back during the championship years. Man drove like he balled.
