Exactly. You can't teach some people. I posted some stats earlier in the thread re: Jones, the only player who is ahead of his starter numbers in all of ppg, rpg, and bpg (this season) is A Davis. I think there is a huge gulf between the 2 of them, but it at least shows he is better than someone gives him credit for.

TJ should be starting PF when Dwight comes back, despite his poor rebounding and boxing out today. He had a key rebound in OT though, he straight took it from 2 Cavs!!!
Jones is playing excellent ball in all facets right now. He's fresh, and is a difference maker at the moment. We'll see if he can keep it up.
If we get Dwight back and semi healthy before the playoffs our big rotation of TJones, DMo, and Dwight can go against anybody in the playoffs. Just need to stay healthy down the stretch.

TJ should learn to finish in traffic. Wasted all those Harden assists. He's competing though. He battled CLE bigs for those rebounds whereas before he would be wiped out from the picture. #growth
He was just outstanding offensively and defensively in the 1st three quarters but he missed some bunnies in the 4th quarter that would have put the game away. But overall his defense was really good against Love and even closing out on Lebron a couple of times to cause him to miss some shots. I'm loving what I'm seeing from TJ.
Right now his defense is the revelation. Everything else he is doing we've already seen, but this defense is most certainly new. Hope it sticks.
Yeah, I keep waiting for the clock to strike midnight with his defense but he is fighting every play and is making a positive impact.
I'm usually a DMo supporter, but TJones has been beyond amazing since his return, even better when starting. Donatas is our best post player, but he not's strong enough down low for rebounding or even defensive purposes. Here's hoping he has some trade value because I think Jones is vital to this team. Don't even want KLove anymore.
