The Rockets should use "We The South"

It can also be used as a rap song (chopped and screwed) to represent H-Town/Clutch City. :)

I thought their primary logo now with the foot mark was just fine..also the fact it is exactly like the Nets logo in style and contours, I just find it laughable  Nice try Toronto!

Looks slightly better and less like Nets without the white lines.

It should've been just the ball without Toronto Raptors around it... and while adding black seems reasonable since a Raptor is kind of dark, it makes zero sense and is ironic to say the least that is resembles the Nets' logo.

Meh. Too similar to Brooklyn and the claw marks look weird following the contour lines on the ball. Should have just incorporated the alternate paw logo as the new primary.

The We the North thing came from a commercial the raps used to advertise the playoffs last season. We the north was used in the commercial and fans loved it and stuck with it. The team saw it got big and just ran with it.

As a Canadian I like it. It got people talking about the raps and they are big in Canada now (or at least a lot more followed and talked about in the general public). I'm not even from Toronto but its a popular and genius marketing tool imo since it connects all of Canada to the team as opposed to Toronto or its surrounding area. Rockets are still better, k thanks bye

Also, although this is well received here, still should a stuck with a raptor on the logo haha. But seriously the fans and the players on the raps all love the purple dino jersey way more than anything they have... kinda like how we like our pre dildo jerseys and to a lesser extent the alternates to what we wear now

Yes, I also read it as "We, the North", rather than "We're the North".

That's how I read it as well. Honestly it could go whichever way the reader wants it to, which is what I imagine the marketing team probably intended.

If you look at the Raptor's alternate logo, it looks like a Raptor's hand flicking you off.

I think "We, the North" is correct. In the commercial, it refers to it as a "Battle Cry", and says "This is our shield" with regard to the logo.

It feels like something that's playing off the popularity of Game of Thrones ... not an ebonics version of "We're the North".
