With the 139th pick of the NFL draft, the Atlanta Falcons select

    A.J. Mccarron, QB, Alabama

The Falcons could use a good backup QB and at this point of the draft, he is the best player available. If Matt Ryan ever goes down, Mccarron would be a nice luxury to have.

It is interesting doing these fan mocks - I have seen two now and it was interesting to see the result for Texans in the event of Clowney or a QB first.
I have to say that it looks better if they take Clowney.
BTW, Tampa did alright in this one -R1. Khalil Mack, R2. Kyle Fuller R3. Jimmy Garoppolo.
I would be pretty pleased if Texans got those come May 8th!

Thanks all that participated. It will be interesting to see who the real GMs draft, and where the players we picked actually get picked. Way back when RSBP Usenet used to have its mock draft you were graded by how much earlier your player was actually drafted.

Btw, with my fifth found pick I was drafting Lache Sistrunk, RB, Baylor and with my sixth round pick, I was drafting either Brett Smith, QB, Wyoming or David Fales, QB, San Jose State.

None right for me... Niners started off with a safety (Jimmy Ward), but Cooks was long gone, so perhaps if he was still there (doubtful, but *if*) they may have gone with WR first. then a RB (Carlos Hyde). At least I got the right position on the third pick they made, but I think Richburg was already gone and so Marcus Martin was the Center they drafted. Thjey went for a LB next (Chris Borland), then a OT, Brandon Thomas... who was expected to go high but for an injury. They waited all the way to the 6th before taking a WR (Bruce Ellington). They went with a tall CB (Dontae Johnson) with their 7th, another LB with their next pick, then a few more CBs. They finished with a DE and last a FB. Don't even need to know the names... they will use a felt pen to write their names on the practice jerseys.

I think most of the picks I made for the Steelers were players valued way higher in the actual draft.

Troy Niklaus wasn't a bad pick for the Texans in the 3rd since we chose one and he actually went in the 2nd.

Overall I think both teams benefited from my draft.

You were dead on Flash... Maybe not the exact players but right idea. You drafted like you took a quarterback in the 1st round and so did the Texans.
