I'd trade the pick for a vet.

It would have to be Harden. If this Artest to Europe talk is real and if we want to get a legit 2guard who can get us over the top, it would have to be Harden. He is straight a mold of Brandon Roy.

    Other: Tyler Hansbrough

I love his shoulder heave baseline shots and his college game that won't translate to the NBA.

    I have a question here:

In 2006 when the draft was coming up, were people acting like it would be a crappy draft like this one?

Also add that Tyler looks like he's gonna cry all the time and you have an all around solid player.

Seriously though you take this 2nd pick and you trade it along with T-mac for Nash and Barbosa or J-rich and you call it a day. We aren't rebuilding and we want experience over youth. Only way I keep Rubio is if we could steal Nash and have him mentor him for the next 3-4 years.

Rubio or Harden. Definitely not Thabeet. From his profile on DX, he sounds like a role player, solid starter at best.

i think you have to consider other options....there's a good chance they'll trade the pick or trade a current player to make room for the pick...so thabeet may not make sense to some now, but what if they traded away landry? Rubio wouldn't make as much sense then.

    Deke's nephew: Harouna Mutombo

    I don't care if he sucks. He's Deke's nephew.

Rubio, but this topic will be pointless if we don't get the pick :(

It all depends on who we traded to get there

Def have to draft Rubio if you have the 2nd pick. Too much potential to pass up. then trade Lowry for a backup C.

Same here. I would like to ask you in the light of our cap situation, which vet would you go after? If Rubio has the highest trading value(I'm assuming that to be the case),who can DM realistically obtain?

Correct,I don't think we have the means to do so and honestly I'm not bothered about it.My response to durvasa's post is out of curiosity.

Tyreke Evans. You gotta figure we lose TMac, a pg and Scola/Landry. Evans has the potential ability to replace some of the scoring at the 2 and log minutes at the 1. My only problem is his outside shot...

Ricky Rubio would be horrible pick. The Rockets guard combo help take the Lakers to 7 games without Tmac and Yao. We need someone to back up Yao Like Hasheem Thabeet who has a lot room to improve considering he barely started playing bball a few years ago.
