oh and I'm tired of "well the afc south is a weak division"crap. how many divisions have more than 2 good teams? I thought andrew luck was supposed to be a white jesus. ^he mad.
Good teams per conference: AFC North: Bengals, Ravens, and Steelers AFC West: Broncos, Chargers, and Chiefs (questionable but a playoff team last year) AFC East: Patriots, Jets (questionable) NFC North: Packers, Bears, Lions, Vikings (with AP) NFC East: Eagles, Cowboys (questionable) NFC West: Seahawks, 49ers, Cardinals NFC South: Panthers, Saints, Falcons The only conferences comparable to the AFC South are the AFC East and NFC East. All four teams in the AFC East are definitely better than the Jaguars. The Bills and Jets have a good enough defense to make up for subpar quarterback play. The Dolphins and Jets were 8-8 last year; better than 3 of the 4 AFC South teams.

@HoustonTexans can we just all agree to start calling Ryan Fitzpatrick "The Lorax"? pic.twitter.com/tgEQOSjr4b
— Andrew D. so if Titans, Texans and Colts get to 8-8, then is not a weak division? and Lions without Calvin Johnson are not good. By your logic it could be: AFC South: Colts, Texans (had almost the same record that the Falcons last year) Titans (questionable) NFL doesnt have 23 (without the Colts) GOOD teams. you cant say Jets or Cowboys are a good team I dont think the Steelers are good this year.
Sure. But the Colts and/or Texans gotta be as good as the Patriots and the Broncos. The Lions DO have Calvin Johnson, so they are a good team. I mentioned AP since he is not with the team right now. I think the Jets and the Dolphins are better than the Titans. Right now, so are the Bills. The Titans defense isn't that good and neither is their QB. Good is relative. In this case it means better than at least two teams in the AFC South.
You're going on historical value more than the fact that those divisions never have more than 2 good teams. the last time the steelers, bengals and ravens were good at the same time was around the mid 2000s. in the Not for League everything is cyclical. again, not our fault the colts are struggling. I think the colts beat the chiefs in the playoffs last season
The only thing I keep thinking about is how the Bills once started out 4-0 or 5-0 with Fitzpatrick playing amazingly well. People were saying Fitz was for real and all this stuff and then they kind of flamed out. Fitz got a huge contract though. To keep myself optimistic, though, I keep telling myself that this coaching staff would never let this happen, and we have Mallet in case it does.
Nate Washington is open in that first Titans pic. He's winning games because: 1) Washington & Oakland suck 2) He's not being asked to throw the ball a lot
Everyone will hate Fitz soon. I hope I'm wrong, but he's terrible. His turnover numbers are massive. Not just his INTs, but his fumbles. I hope I'm wrong. But just preparing for a rough season
This is what every Texans fan should think about. Agree with you. It is coming. Fitzpatrick will eventually fail and the change will happen. Not saying Mallett will be any better, but his chance will come this season. If Fitzpatrick somehow does not revert to being a TO machine, Texans might finish 7-9, 8-8. But eventually, Fitz is gonna Fitz.
I'm just going to requote this. Its Mallet time in the second half. Although I blame a lot on our line.
