I know that some years ago they said that supposedly there was no way to modify the stadium structurally to where they could just slide an entire field in (and out) at once like some stadiums can. Maybe there's some new technology that will allow them to do that now. #wishful thinking

They should put down field turf as the base layer on the stadium and then truck in pallets of flooring to put over it so the rodeo can dump dirt on it and do its thing.

I think this injury was a freak accident. It could happen to anyone. You guys need to stop saying he's injury prone when in reality, he just had some bad luck. The hernia is something he had before and its no big deal. The concussion against the Broncos in practice could happen to anyone also. If you go helmet to helmet with anyone that hard, most of the time you will get a concussion.

Now he is just unfortunate to injured his knee when he landed in some hole. It was just an accident. Lets hope its not too bad and hopefully he will come back soon. But Clowney was the right pick at #1 overall. The only other guy that the Texans was considering drafting #1 overall was Khalil Mack but Clowney was a good choice. He was the projected number 1 pick for the last few years. Plus the thought of pairing Clowney and JJ Watt together is just too good to pass up.

Yeah...but some people just happen to have more freak accidents than others. Not saying he's injury prone, but sports hernia, concussion and meniscus in a 3 month window pretty much leads me to hold my breath every time he's on the field at this point.

Being injury prone can be because of bad luck. There is really no way around it, the last few years he has been injury prone.

I don't even have an issue with the pick. The defense looked far better with him on the field Sunday and the idea that the Texans for sure blew the #1 pick is simply false, it is way too early to make that kind of proclamation.

"5. Clowney is not injury prone. While it might seem that way from his time in Houston during which he has now had two surgeries and a concussion, Clowney missed only two games due to injury in all of his three seasons at South Carolina. There's hope that this recent rash is an anomaly. "

    That's encouraging!

Can we please just win one of the next two.

Getting Clowney back will make us dominant rushing the passer.

And as long as Ben holds on to the ball, it will be another day similar to the last time Ben played the Bull on Parade(Williams was amazing that game).

Damn, wish it was sooner, but it's not that surprising being that week 6 is a short week for us. It's a bit of a bummer, but it's best not to rush it.

Still trippin off dude not lasting one damn game, but hopefully he comes back strong... and stays strong. Texans need a very good defense with Fitz at the helm.
