Perhaps, I usually stay away from the GARM so definitely didn't see the full LoF madness that was infecting the sub. When I did see Lin mentioned it was usually just jokes mocking LoF's by calling him 'GOAT' or complaining about LoF. The huge GARM threads that were undoubtedly huge Lin battles I never even peeked into. So there's that. But I think his fans probably made us judge him a but unfairly, and the best thing is just to let him go rather then incessantly following his every move. Thats being just as obsessive as LoF's IMO. I get the celebration aspect of it (I definitely enjoy seeing Parsons fail) but I always kind of liked Lin as an underdog player/guy.
I liked Lin for about 5 seconds, then his fans came along with the whole 'Harden got nothing, Lin be da man' thing.
There were times when 7 or 8 threads were about Lin,. and if you tried to go into the others, well **** you, they had to become about Lin too.
Laughing over terrible box scores and naive religious rants would be considered therapy. Throwing out mindless one liner insults is another form of therapy I understand. In this regard, I'd say the likes of king1 and Ftw Rocks are very normal because they are clearly self aware. On the other hand, there is something very baffling about the level of devotion the top two Lin crazies in this thread have put into Lin's career. It has transcended the norms of internet hate machine and warped into something very familiar and real, something like a job. I wonder who's paying them to keep up the daily 9 to 5 Lin grind.
Byron Scott has removed Ronnie Price from the starting lineup and replaced him with an Asian American. Click below for more... Spoiler Rookie Jordan Clarkson making Asian Americans and Filipinos proud.
I guess my priorities are different, I'll celebrate when the Rockets win a chip. My enjoyment is from visiting the likes of this thread and the meltdown caused in-between forum members.

For the record, I used the word "cute" as in treating LOFs as kids that do stupid things to tolerate them, not the word "hot". How you interpret it is up to you...
Woah I didn't know Clarkson was half philipino I guess Byron Scott is only racist towards Taiwanese Americans then lol I wonder if Clarkson feels uncomfortable like Lin does amongst people of other race
The ultra annoying nature of his fans makes it sweet relief when he is gone (and them with him). Those who remain are doomed to play defence against Zboy and tinman.
