Texans Schedule to be released 4/21

    Schedules will be released at 7:00 on NFL network. These are the teams the Texnans will play. I'm guessing possibly 2 prime time games.. The NFC match ups aren't very sexy for TV but hopefully will be good match ups for the Texans.

    Every team gets at least one in the new format, right (the CBS/NFLN Thursday slot)? Beyond that, Colts on a Monday night seems possible, I guess. NBC/SNF is likely doubtful.

    The big issue is lack of marquee opponents - Bengals and Patriots (+Colts) are the only '14 playoff teams, and Bills and Chiefs are the only other '14 teams with a winning record, right? Not a lot of options for exciting primetime match-ups.

    I kind of had the same issue. I expected possible prime time games with the Pats and Colts. The Thursday game doesn't have to be a great matchup. Some of those are clunkers so we could see a Bills or a divisional game in that slot.

    The 506 says the Pats leak is wrong. They have to be on the road week 17 because Hockey is being played in Gillette stadium.

    It's amazing how the NFL has convinced the media and fans that this is a huge deal. It's bad enough we are talking about the draft two months out.
