Malick's second coming of films are superficially like Pasolini bordering on Bertolucci. I hate Bertolucci's films.

Malick is awesome. I maintain that Tree of Life was one of the best films of the last 5 years.

    Really looking forward to this.

    Yes,

Actually, there was a lot to admire in that film, but I worry this new one looks like it will have similar issues: great camera work and directing cannot punch their way out of a vapid, cliche script.

    Looks like pretentious, existentialist tripe.

    I will definitely watch it.

Not a huge Terrence Malick fan, but this looks pretty interesting and different. That camerawork looked pretty cool, too.

    Probably will watch.

Looks more than a little self indulgent.

Boo hoo poor you. A life of sex with Natalie Portman and Kate Blanchett that doesn't meet your unrealistic vision of what love is supposed to be.

What a terrible life. Why, God, are you so cruel?

This looks like the type of "tragedy" that will only resonate with people who have everything and have it so easy they've become bored.

At least , that is my first impression.

Listening to entitled people whine for two hours fits on my "to do" list right between root canal and colonoscopy.

The tunnel scene in this movie's preview made me think of the Dark Knight, when Batman drove into a bright tunnel.
