    Good God no.

If the Rockets had a lotto pick to add as a sweetener then maybe some team would take Lin off our hands.

With his contract and production this year why would anyone think Lin is a valuable asset?

More likely the Rockets would have to give up draft considerations to entice a team to take on that $15m salary for next season ..... He's basically untradeable until the deadline next year.

Buddy Lin isn't worth any first round pick. When he gets dumped this summer the Rockets will likely have to add a pick or DMo/Jones just to get someone to take him.

    Sorry....

Isn't there a random trade thread for this? Post it over there instead of using Lin's name to get some inflammatory comments.

No one is giving up a first round pick for Jeremy Lin's contract. It will likely take a first rounder (possibly two) to get someone to take him... that is if you're looking for them to absorb him with cap room.

Sorry to those Lin fans who take this as "hate"... it's just the reality.

Pretty sure Lin has a negative trade value.

Do you think Lin would be worth absorbing in exchange for nothing? Like would a team take him and pay him 15 million, 8.33 million on the books?

Lin's contract might have negative value his play this season (he improved statistically in almost every area) has definite trade value. Late first/early 2nd. Plus he can keep a rebuilding team economically afloat. Probably some value in that.

If LA traded their pick for Jeremy Lin there would be race riots akin to 1992.
