That is weird, as it's main use is as an anti-breast cancer agent. Masks other steroids though.

There seems to be somewhat of a misconception that performance enhancing drugs serve only the purpose of making you stronger, faster, whatever.

In a sport like basketball, the best type of ped's are for regeneration and shortened recovery times, you're not running a 100m sprint, you're in a marathon, your endurance and more importantly, recovery times are everything.

I knew he was on some drugs when I saw him put up those crazy numbers. 4.9 ppg for a guy that nobody even knows outside of Memphis area, pretty impressive.

I like how people enjoy revelling in their own ignorance.

On topic, this is laughable. I like how the NBA is pretending to crack down on doping and they bust dudes for weed or tamoxifen or whatever. Dudes like Lebron or Dwight have more HGH than water in their body and everyone knows it, but of course you're not gonna go after your moneymakers. Just crucify some random guys for minimal offenses so you look like you care.

Really, tamoxifen is a breast cancer drug used to treat estrogen dependent tumors. So, yes, it works in steroid regulation. Suspension is clearly justified.

I thought teams had doctors who will clear what medicine or supplements players can take.

Calathes should come clean on what medical condition he had and what supplement he took. It can serve as a warning for other players.
