    WOW

Wonder who the next 40 man casualty is?

Also wonder if they were able to strike a buyout arbitration deal with him...

It should only be a spot start or two until Obie is back but still. Crane/Luhnow saying F U to that Super 2.

I guess Buchanon is packing his bags, which if he was smart was never unpacked, and heading back to AAA.

Or they're hedging that with only spot starts, LMJr wouldn't qualify for super 2 arbitration anyways... as he wouldn't be in the top 22% production wise.

Is he going to be DFA'd to make room on the 40 man?

Or is that going to be Thatcher? (who I guess would have to be outright released).

Lance McCullers, Jr got beaten like a red headed step child in the KC exhibition game. Guessing that the nerd cave thinks LMJ can now handle it.

Geez bold move. Hope he can give 5 quality innings before turning it over to our solid bullpen.

ha. Luhnow figures this buys him at least 2-3 weeks of denial about Correa's super two concerns... or what not. McCullers shot through the minors quicker than I thought he would! go him

This the perfect time to go to the game too since they have that 19.86 special for lower level seats in may. only 3 games left. I got my ticket to see his debut!

Wow! I thought the Astros would be overly conservative, but assume this follows the assumption that pitchers only have so many innings in their arms.
