It is just my interpretation of what I see and read that Llull's NBA destination, should he come over, would likely be with a Gasol or possibly other countryman.

With da Bulls' issues with All World Rose/All Dreck Knees I could envision a deal in that direction.

 

Gentile gave an update on the possibility of coming over:

Alessandro Gentile was selected by the Houston Rockets in the second round of the 2014 NBA Draft and he did not rule out jumping overseas very soon.

“The Rockets make me feel like one of their family even if I never went to Houston yet. They came to Europe very often to watch me and the contacts are frequent. The NBA is a challenge that fascinates me more and more and could come very soon. But now I am just focused on winning a back-to-back title with Olimpia Milano. But the final results of this season won’t affect my future decisions,” said Gentile.

I doubt if we can get much in return for Llull, but anything is better than nothing unless he changes his mind and agrees to come to Houston.

The buyout problems with the international players like him and Gentile is an other hurdle that we face.

 

Didn't realize Todorovic grew his game so much this year. NBA talent for sure.

He's got good size and a good-looking shot. That's enough to make me feel like he can be a good player some day.

 

Sneaky athletic, can score/create off the bounce. Reminds me sort of a Rudy Fernandez type.

Would like to see Diebler and Gentile in Rocket red sooner rather than later. They would immediately improve 3 point shooting and playmaking, especially on 2nd unit.

 

That'll be good since in 2016 the cap is supposed to go up significantly as well

 

I actually see a bit of that being an issue with Alessandro Gentile if he were to join the NBA

He has some "Carmelo of Italy" arrogant look to him, where he might not fit too well in a secondary role. He has the offensive skills, but maybe not the attitude.

His cocky demeanor might still be a GOOD thing too for an overseas import against the stereotype, different from guys like Spanoulis and Rudy Fernandez who were just too emotionally weak for the NBA. Maybe some Motiejunas type "Catch ME If You Can!" attitude will work.
