Thanks. Yeah my daughter is, but Rockets is my sons 2nd favourite team. He was too caught up in the LeBron Miami. Jumped on the Rockets myself in the mid 90's. Everyone else it seemed was a Bulls fan and I wanted something different. Red was my color and rockets had an amazing big man playing (Hakeem the dream).
And Dorsey is a midget himself.. lol Nah, but I'm glad you are enjoying yourself. I didn't even know they had tour for the Toyota Center. Bring us another win this weekend though!
First off, awesome pics and story! Really glad you and your girls are enjoying Houston. But assuming that this was immediately after the Bulls game, I find it strange that they have all the Chinese advertising back up since during the nationally televised game, they took them all down and had NBA TV ads up (even the Smartphone ZTE ad on the floor was replaced by rockets.com) Wondering if Adam Silver and co frown upon foreign ads
Why would he frown on foreign ads? I'm sure he loves that ****. Plus, I think those signs are there for every game. Nba can't take local revenue like that.
That's awesome. Lived in Houston all my life and it never occurred to me to take a tour of any of our sports facilities, even though they're offered for all 3 and probably pretty interesting. Great looking family too! Welcome to Houston!
I did the Reliant Stadium tour a couple years ago, and it was pretty awesome. We saw Ben Tate ride by on his segway. I was going to ask for a picture, but I guess I was too wishy-washy to say something. I need to take that Toyota Center tour, looks like fun. I think MMP would probably be the most interesting, hopefully Mark Appel won't be throwing a bullpen session again. Welcome to Houston, glad you got to see a great game against Chicago!
Looks better than my pic with Joey D from a hookah bar earlier last year. Cheers mate! Glad you had fun! I have family who lives in Melbourne, I have no idea how close that is to where you live.
I took the MMP tour, well it was more like a corporate scavenger hunt, which was essentially a tour I suppose, and I would highly recommend it. Baseball and the Astros are my favorite Houston team though, so I may be biased, but I thought it was really cool.
I've been going to Toyota Center for years!!!! (Even interviewed for a position there a while back) Didn't know there were tours available lol, that's awesome though thanks for sharing! $17!? Man that seems like a deal!
Very nice! You've got a beautiful family. Glad you had a good time, and let's hope you bring the same luck against Portland that you did against Chicago!
Serious? From the fan shop in the stadium on game night. Kids are mad for clutch. He's wearing one of the free headbands we got against the Bulls as a permanent fixture now also.
