    This is pure speculation:
Anyone think there is any chance we could trade one of our #1s trying to pick up a couple #2's.
Only reason I suggest this is because it appears from Clutch's post we do have interest in Ken Johnson, who had a poor Chicago camp and may slip into the early part of the second round. Additionally if we could add a mid-level 2nd round pick we could also get T-mo.
I guess another option may be to trade our two higher picks to get into the top 6-7 and also try to get a second round pick out of the deal. With that we could get a good player at 6-7, possibly Ken Johnson at 23 or another big man who may be availalble, and then pick up T-mo in the second.

True, it would be nice to move down to the second round, but only if we are able to move one of the cap draining salaries on this team(Walt, Cato). Otherwise, you're just looking to cut the player you draft in the second round, say a Lampley or Scalabrine, and acquire future considerations from your trade partner.

Also, keep in mind that there are only so many roster spots on this team, so adding 2 second rounders isn't in the best interest of the team. You'd have to cut Colson, easy, and either have bull retire, not likely, or move one of the big contracts, walt and Cato.
