Has anyone been tracking Glen Davis's numbers in summer league?

I just peaked and whoa! He shot an eye popping 19 pts on July 14th in 32 min of play.

I've watched a couple of Boston's games, and Glenn has looked great. He's much more aggressive than Carl, on both ends of the floor.

If Big Baby ever shoots 18 times on that team w/ Pierce, Allen, Jefferson, they are in trouble.

I think Boston has assembled a playoff bound team.

I have been watching him and he looks WAY better than Landry......more athletic, more aggressive and a better overall game.

The only thing Landry does better is move without the ball.

Sigh..if Big Baby turns into an All-Star then this will be one where we will be kicking ourselves for years to come.

Unless of course Landry picks it up and turns on the afterburners.

Hey, we already have our future all-star and ROY candidate in Scola. Can't be too greedy. :)

Yes, we need to debate whether Big Baby or Landry will look better sitting on the bench and waving towels as they cheer on Scola.

Big Baby has a better smile, but Landry's slim figure may look better in sweats. Tough call.

We need the summer league teams to put each of these guys on the bench so we can better compare the rookies-to-be.

From my limited time watching him in the summerleague, he is gonna get pick and rolled to death.

I saw him briefly in their first summer league game and he didn't look that good. Glad we took Landy instead of Davis. He and Yao together just wouldn't work.

He was my pick at 26, but I am now glad we took Brooks. However, Davis should have been taken before Landry. I believe he was still available. He is hard to contain, throws his weight around well, moves his feet well for someone so big. I am excited about Scola and the potential of Brooks. Landry is probably going to be traded. I don't know if the Rockets have the option of not signing him. I don't think so. I know very little about the business side of the NBA.

he's playing against other undeveloped bodies with his muscular frame, of course he should be dominating. different story when he gets into the regular season and everyone there is pretty strong.

Are you talking about.. Davis or Landry? Cause they are playing against the same type of opponent. They should both dominate.

Unfortunately neither will dominate anyone in the NBA.

The Rockets got a big wide body in Jackie Butler. Though he's probably slower and basically a center not a power forward he's got more standing reach and for a fatboy is "listed" as LIGHTER than Big Baby (Butler 6'10 - 260(?) compared to Davis 6-'9" 289 lbs) ...
Butler's summer stats stats are at:
    PPG 11.8
    RPG 6.33
    APG 2.2
    EFF + 13.00

Not too bad I guess..Davis has more offensive moves than Butler, but if Butler were somehow to lose pounds and be at 240 he'd be a decent sub-in at the 4-5

Should still get the best talent available for a team and we won't know if Landry is over Glen Davis now. Just saying that the front office has addressed so much in the offseason and though we want the most perferct players there doesnt seem to be as many holes on the team now.

I haven't seen Davis play in SL so I'm guessing he's got an advantage with his size. Is he the focus of their offense?

I like the fact Landry is getting garbage points from missed shots. That's more fitting if he makes it on the court since Yao & Mac will take most of the shots.

The only negatives re: Landry I see are his rebounding and that he's already struggling against bigger players in SL.

some of that is due to Novak starting at center...Landry are against two or more bigs everytime.
