Why is nobody talking about the Atlanta Hawks this year?

    All I hear about is how Cleveland and the Bulls are a lock to go to the finals.

    I don't know about that. If you look at the atlanta hawks, this team has everything.

    They are loaded. Adding spliter, Schroder is only getting better, Korver is the next best thing to having Curry from the three point line.

    This team is going to be hard to beat. They aren't going to beat themselves like they did last year.

    They have everything except an alpha star player to take big shots and have big games in the playoffs.

    That's the big downside to their team, you are right. And unlike the grizzlies, who are very similar, their defense isn't world class to limit other teams stats, like lebron.

    That's what they are going to have to work on. If they can get their perimiter d up to snuff, they will be really hard to beat.

    Good regular season team. Will struggle to go far continuously in a playoff series without a true go to star

    The Bulls are a lock to go to the ECF? Who said that? lmao
    Atlanta is ten times better team than the Bulls.

    But even after getting Splitter still suck at rebounding and what happened with that lottery pick they traded? They haven't even begun to use THJ.

    Atlanta doesn't play right now as well as it did at middle of last season. But it's still too early. If they play as well they will have people start talking about them again.

    Same for Cleveland. They have been winning but not playing well and that's why not many talk about them right now.

    Nobody cared about the Spurs until they won. The same goes with the Hawks. NBA prompts individual starts, the highlights, etc, the team game Hawks playing is boring for casual fans, just doesn't fit the league's marketing hype.

    no real mention of Toronto improving on their weaknesses either or the continued development of JV, who has looked uber dominant at times.

    They'll be talking about them now. Joining the Rockets as the only team to lose to BKN, so far.

    Because they are a bunch of well-coached role players that overachieves in the regular season and then makes a typical mid round exit in the playoffs.
