We Rox fans just assume that Ty Lawson, a ball-dominant guard, coming over the Rox with Harden and all...will mesh perfectly and right away, and that everyone will be happy with their role in regards to ball handling and distribution.
Eh , I dunno ..... I think their odds are a bit better than 4.54%. This is the same roster that just made the WCF .... minus two starters thru the playoffs and that has fixed its biggest flaw in adding a second playmaker. I'd have to say their odds are much better than 1 in 22 .... Maybe 8:1 (12.5%) which is a little better than that 17:2 given OKC ..... This team is better than the Thunder and significantly better than that Bulls team with an equal 22:1. (Yeah , this is Vegas odds based off of how much $$$ gamblers are throwing down on teams now - That 22-1 payout looks pretty good right now , $100 wins you $2200).
Have they set the over/under for each team this season ?? Might be a couple like that again this year ...
Thanks for the diagnosis doc. Your professional medical opinion seems to be that CP put up great numbers, therefore he must have been healthy. Are you taking new patients?
Not sure why Duncan needs to find a fountain of youth - I believe he was all-NBA in offense and defense. Their 2 best players could be Leonard and Aldridge. They basically rested all year and ended up going from 2 to 6 seed on the last day of the year. Declining play of wings? What is Leonard?
I don't think everyone assumes that. But, you have to admit, the Rockets lineup has been in constant flux for the past few years, and the Rockets seem to always make it work. We added Brewer and Smith at mid-season last season and that worked out pretty well. Adding a ball dominant guard will be a change for Harden, but Harden requested help in the back court, so I think he will welcome someone else doing some of the ball handling duties.
