OU was rolling until Mayfield got knocked out. They couldn't do anything with Knight in there in the 2nd half, he's terrible.

TCU is trash right now. They were destroyed by OK State and beat Kansas by 6. OU should have streamrolled them even with Mayfield missing the 2nd half. In my opinion.
Heck of a game TCU vs OU. After the third string qb Sawyer was stinking it up, went with the other back up again and almost completed a beautiful comeback. So many punts and then overs but hell of a fourth quarter.
If OU is a pretender, then so is everyone else not named Alabama and Clemson. If you've watched OU over the last few weeks, you can make an argument that they've been the best team in the country. Sad I'm here defending OU as a Horns fan, but they're definitely legit even with their one outlier loss to the Horns. MSU/Iowa is likely to make it in the playoff knowing that they play each other in the Big 10 title game. It basically comes down to Notre Dame vs. OU. That Texas loss will especially hurt OU's case (assuming they win next against Oklahoma St in Stillwater) because Note Dame was able to smack Texas around. At the same time though, if you look at OU's wins, Notre Dame can't match those. 5-0 vs the top 30. Notre Dame, assuming they win against Stanford in the final game, will be 3-1 against the top 30. Neither team has a title game to play in. Personally I wish there was a "play-in" game with OU playing ND. That would be an interesting game to watch. For the purpose of these playoffs, I'd probably like to see Notre Dame in to see that rematch of Clemson/ND again. Definitely was a good game.
There is a case to be made either way for ND vs. OU but it may not matter. If MSU beats Iowa (which is likely), do they get in before both ND & OU? I suppose but is this a lock?
