What are you're thoughts on Craig Ackerman as a play-by-play guy. I live in NH and listen via XM. I honestly must say I find him unbearable. Just plain awful. I miss Peterson and Foley Big Time.
I hope Craig takes over from bill whenever he feels his time is up. Then once dwight retires he takes Clyde's spot for the comedy Then parsons takes bulls spot to keep e female viewers watching (and the whole of CF's)
Wow, this shocks me. I hear a lot of announcers with XM and in my opinion, Ackerman is one of the worst. I prefer the away feed, which hurts me to do maybe Joel makes it worse and I'm impacted by that, don't know. I do respect everyone's opinion though.
man i think ackerman does a great job. but ill be honest when i say i only listen to rockets radio feed and never anyone elses lol... nor have I.
Akerman is now in legend status after the tragedy he had to sufer through last year. Even after all that he still came back and delivered great calls. He is excellent.

Did not realize Ackerman has worked for the Rockets in various capacities for over 20 years. He doesn't look that old. OP you're taste in announcers is awful. Ackerman is a fantastic PBP man.
I can't see much negativity over Ackerman's performance! He does a professional job, and doesn't annoy me. He compliments the radio broadcast well. He isn't greater than the game. Which to me makes a solid radio guy.
