They certainly had longevity... but I was never really entertained or interested in hearing what they had to say. Didn't have a problem with them though. Only morning show I somewhat enjoyed was Granato-Lance, but that coincided with some good Astros years and they really were able to play that up well on their show.
Ouch... really enjoy listening to them. Looks like Lance Z will be doing the AM show. I don't really have a problem with that. I like Lance, and now Charlie will be running the show in the evenings.
I love 790. I enjoyed these two. But I'll live (sorry Matt). They can do better. These two didn't bring all that much insight to the table IMO. I'm very curious as to why they were fired... If LZ is taking over then I'm ecstatic (sorry again Matt). You don't need 2 hosts on 3 shows, seems like overkill. I'm not sure these 2 will wind up anywhere else, they don't really fit on the other stations do they?
This sucks. Seriously, how can anyone listen to Mike & Mike? They act like adolescent brothers who have to argue and tease each other for the entire show everyday. The big show this morning was an even better listen than usual IMO, I'm really disappointed.
Lance is much more in-tune come football season... much more insightful... 790 typically takes in on the chin during football season, so this is probably to try to limit that damage.
Wow. The show had lost some steam ever since Lance came in and boogered things up, but this was way out of left field. Contracts expired maybe?
