Didn't know where else to put this... <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>And to clarify, RHP Samuel Deduno was claimed on outright waivers and is now an Astro, per an MLB source. <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/MNTwins?src=hash">#MNTwins</a></p>— Rhett Bollinger (@RhettBollinger) <a href="https://twitter.com/RhettBollinger/statuses/505787042845188096">August 30, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Yep, he has had a monumentally disappointing season. He'll almost certainly be back to start next season, but if moran starts well in OKC snd he struggles we could see Moran pretty early next year. I hope to see them give Matt Duffy a look in September and the start of next season. Adios to Guzman and Krauss.
Wow, what an outing by Feldman. The boot is officially ours. Let's see how much longer these ranger jerseys are commonplace, hope they don't hurt themselves hopping off the bandwagon
Yea if he was playing in NY or LA, he would be all over espn on a nightly basis, he would be known as a national phoenom
Gonna be interesting to se what kind of season he has next year. While I don't think he's this good, I have no real reason to believe he isn't. If in fact this is a career year, what is his true level, because even with some regression he could still be really good. A batting title would be a really nice feather in the cap, and it would also be nice to have a legit face that people can get used to. 48-53 over the last 103 games. MLB team is very competitive right now. Hopefully some of these guys can continue to improve and we get a few more impact prospects coming up next year. With a few player improvements, I don't think being close to .500 next year is unrealistic by any means.
He was certainly this good as he was coming through the minors, so it isn't crazy to think he can do this over and over and over. He also showed flashes of this kind of production his first couple of years when he was super young to be in the majors Sign a LEGITIMATE bat for left field next year, and we could have a top 10 offense
With Springer/Marisnick/Grossman/Fowler, I'm not sure there is a need to go after a LF bat, unless it is an all-star caliber bat. I have to think they will move Fowler in the offseason though. Our best hope is a bounce back from Castro, and Singleton to improve, plus hope Moran is the real deal.
You could certainly be right And if you are, we will suck again, in the real life baseball sense And if we move Fowler for prospects, then...f it, never mind
