If the Colts have the best offensive line in the division I think that speaks to a whole how bad the offensive lines are in this division.
LB'S and Special Teams? Texans, LB: #1, Counting Merciless & Clowbey as LB's and healthy Cushing. Yeah should probably just be "front 7" with the 3/4 - 4/3 different schemes and switching. Some safeties can even play as LB's ST: #4, Hints of improvement but still mediocre
Titans are being underestimated offensively and overestimated defensively. They have the best QB, best RB's, and best Offensive line in the Division. The WR are dead last. The D line is ok, but the rest of the defense is near last in the entire league. I think they are primed to win the division though at 10-6.
I don't know about Titans, but it wouldn't be crazy for the Jags to win it. I think the Titans still suck.
The Titans coaching staff is garbage. They have some talent, but not enough to make up for the coaching staff. I see them at 8-8 at best. I won't rank units, cuz there's too many unknowns, but this is how I see the South finishing up: Texans 10-6 Colts 10-6 Jags 9-7 Titans 7-9 Our division is definitely improving, folks.
In related news, Colts LG Jack Mewhort is believed to have suffered a torn ACL in Saturday night's preseason game. It's an enormous loss for Indianapolis. A top-ten guard last season per Pro Football Focus' grades, Mewhort is one of the Colts' most experienced and best linemen as the anchor between LT Anthony Castonzo and rookie C Ryan Kelly. -from Rotoworld
Honestly I see the Texans as a 6-10 team at best. JJ Watt is coming off a major back surgery. Cushing and Wilfolk are another year older. And without a strong D-line Kareem Jackson and Co. are going to be exposed. And let's be honest, the texans have been known to dog it. See 2 years ago and basically every playoff games. Also, you guys were already bandaiding the offense together by relying on a rookie Nick Martin at center, and to other new commers to that team: Lamar Miller (who ain't that special) and Osweiler. I see a lot of 3 and outs with that team. Not to mention that the AFC South doesn't have any pushover teams any more like in years past. Jags 10-6. Colts 9-7 Titans 9-7 Texans 6-10.
Spoken like a true Titans fan. No way they only win 6 games. That's absurd. You say band-aiding like the new people, including Martin, were just guys off the street. Lol. How many Band-Aids did the Titans use recently then? A whole box.... Man, that Mariota Band-Aid probably won't stick... Also, the Titans have a terrible coach, and probably had about the worst coaching search in the history of the NFL last year. I look forward to them getting a new coach and a new system in two years. It'll only help the other teams in the division, and make the Titans look worse. Especially if the new coach wants to clean house and start over...
Hahaha The only two teams that will fight for the division title is the Texans and Colts. The Jags and Titans will be fighting for that bottom spot again. This is the same damn hype both of those teams had last season and both of them pooped the bed.
