Haven't heard as much as a short blurb from him since Howard signing.
He's played in the SF Pro AM and is doing something for Nash's soccer charity, but his usual twitter activity is zero. Feel like every other major player/staff member with the Rockets have chimed in about Howard's arrival in one way or another.

Because if he is tweeting ppl will say he should work on his Js and 3 pts instead of going to Taiwan/Twitter all day.

Social media can be bad sometimes. He's smart to lay off it for now. Doesn't have to answer all those questions about him leaving or staying.

Lin will be with the team when they gather together next week, that's all that matters. Not every athlete needs to tweet out their thoughts on Twitter or seek the spotlight.

Seeing Beverley today being a big part of welcoming Dwight makes me think they'll trade Lin.

But my basketball brain just can't accept it. Lin is improving so much in a difficult situation for him last year playing next to Harden. Dwight is a perfect match for him. + Beverley is NOT ready.

I would only trade Lin for Chris Paul and definitely not for Rondo.

Now my campaigns for Dwight and the Twin Towers (Asik) seem to have succeeded I'm going to start a campaign to keep Jeremy Lin. Stop Houston from making stupid basketball decisions.

He is becoming a Zen student. Meditation and work out.
    Plus occasional prayers to Jesus.

If Lin ends up not being the right fit next to Howard/Harden,
then I am 100% sure that it's not because he didn't work hard enough or want it badly.

Lin has many flaws as a basketball player but his greatest strengths which are humility, dedication, and perseverance will help him reach his ceiling, whatever that may be.

Honestly, he is probably working his @$$ off in a gym somewhere as we speak.

I would lose respect for Morey if he traded Lin now for anyone short of Chris Paul. Anyone with an ounce of basketball sense can see how much potential Lin has and what an important piece he is now that Howard is here.

if Lin was an atheist instead of being a bible thumping jesus freak, his hall of fame probability would increase by 35%.

The lack of twitter doesn't mean anything. It's entirely possible that Lin personally calls and texts people. He's not quiet. This is just what normal looks like in an increasingly outspoken and narcissistic world.

Howard and Harden are both bible thumping freaks. What their chances of getting in the Hall of Fame? The three of them should make a church circle.

Lin knows he is battling for his spot, so the smart thing is to keep playing and improving his shooting and play making ability. Starting job is his to lose.

As has been pointed out on this forum many times and also by Morey. Lin does not add much to the Rocket's revenues. Most of the revenues are distributed by the league to teams evenly.
