According to http://**************/salaries.htm, Rox are #20 @50mil (they do not have CW, BS, or SP tho, so @$55mil?).

How much higher could this team go before breaking the luxury threshhold? Profit threshhold?

Luxury tax numbers won't be set until later this month, but there is some indication that the overall could go down thanks to a huge balloon payment involving the Lakers that could shift the tv revenue fairly significantly.

The Rockets probably have to be over $57 million to hit the threshold. At least that's what I read earlier this summer. That may have changed.

The salary figure provided at the Hoops-hype website does not include the salaries of Sura, Ward, and Padgett yet since noone knows the exact numbers. It's probably around $56 mil if Padgett signed around minimum.

So the rumors that SP got a 5 year deal were wrong?

That was a complete joke man. It was actually a 7 year deal for 77 million.

ward and sura most likely split the MLE. something like: sura - $3.4M, and ward $2M.....then add padgett for the vet min of around $1M.
