I know you're an old school Weezer fan like myself. How about some good old b-sides?

No love for Fountains of Wayne? Their second album is the epitome of power pop.

Girl bands are always a good source:

    Vacation – The Go – Go’s
    Super Connected – Belly
Love is the Slug – Fuzzbox
    Ladykillers – Lush
    Universal Heartbeat – Juliana Hatfield
From Your Girl - The Muffs
    Audrey's Eyes - Velocity Girl

    Also:

Stop This Game – Cheap Trick
    Turning Japanese – The Vapors
Could You Be the One? – Husker Du
Cause I Said So – The Godfathers
    Anything, Anything – Dramarama
I'm an Adult Now - The Pursuit of Happyness
Grey Cell Green - Ned's Atomic Dustbin
Leave Me Alone - The Cave Dogs
    Arlington - Emmet Swimming

And this doesn't really fit the genre, but you might like "All That I Wanted" by Belfegore.

Colt 45, your list of Girl bands is spot on. I will have to check out Fuzzbox. Your mention of The Muffs blows me away. I had a dream about Kim Shattuck lat night. I met her at a gig my band was playing at Rajis in Hollywood. She was handing out invites to see her new band 'The Muffs' at an upcoming show. Recognizing her from the Pandoras I was beyond smitten and tongue tied... Ah well. The Muffs Blonder and Blonder is seriously strong power pop. I could go on, but bet ya wish I wouldn't.

Another kudo for mentioning the Godfathers.

I'd never heard of the Muffs 'til I saw them open for the Goo Goo Dolls way back when. They're awesome live. I've always had a thing for girls that rock.

Definitely check out Fuzzbox, the video for "Slug" is pure '80's.
