I'll have to go with the 80s. Each one of the players were a key piece to a championship team in that decade. Almost went with the 90s because you can argue that 3/5 (but definitely one) are the greatest at their position. MJ because he's MJ, John Stockton is all-time leader in assist, Dream has the most career blocks (I believe that they did not record blocks during the Wilt/Russ Era though) with an unmatched post game.
I'd take 90's, with everyone at their peak Payton / Stockton Jordan Pippen Barkley / Malone Hakeem / DRob
The 80s were the best. A rivalry that lasted a decade with quality teams like sixers, rockets, and pistons to make it interesting. Most of the great 90s players were drafted in the early 80s.
Jordan's and Dreams numbers were the same or better in the 80s. They just didn't have to go against Bird and Magic teams anymore.
As a Rockets fan, definitely the 90s. Nothing compares to the emotions of '94 and '95 and never will unless the Rockets win it all again.
I think the 80s and 90s are tied, but would give it to the 80s based on the fact that some of those 90s players also played a long time in the 80s at as high or higher a level.
Stephanie Curry wouldn't last an entire game against the defenses from the 90s. 80s: No blood no foul 90s: Is your name Jordan? No? No foul 00s: Flop for fouls 10s: You get a foul, you get a foul, and you get a foul!
