Baseball is much different than basketball. Even if you have the best player in the league your team might suck since any one player can do so little. I would say right now if there was an mlb draft of all player he would be begins trout and Harper.

FYI...Correa had more steals than Trout in 60 fewer games this season. Trout used to steal bases at a much higher clip but has essentially stopped running. Also, Trout is a little more than 2 years older than Correa so it's not like he's getting old.

Correa is playing a premier defensive position at a premier level. He's hitting with power and for average...and he can steal bases. He'll likely be a 30/20 guy next year and for the foreseeable future.

Correa could be on Trout's level, but that's still only a possibility, Trout is already doing it, and he's only a few years older. Trout also has better speed, even if he isn't stealing bases. If Trout stays healthy he may down as the GOAT, and that's not hyperbole.

Correa is already a great MLB player even if he doesn't get better (and I certainly do expect him to get better) but he hasn't show GOAT level performance...yet.

Agreed. Ted Williams may be the greatest hitter of all time. He never won a World Series, and in no way do people diminish his career because of it.

In hoops, if you don't win a ring, you're a pretender.

    1) Correa's talent does appear generational

    2) It's unfair to judge basketball-baseball players' rankings because baseball has been played twice as long and has twice as many players on a roster. Baseballers have quadruple the competition of a basketballer.
