Not sure if anyone has pointed this out yet, but while it may be true that they took their foot off the pedal in g7, the Rockets clearly didn't take them seriously in g1 sans CP3. Given that both teams essentially gave a game away that series, and both teams had injury issues (CP3 missing a few games, no Bev and DMo for Hou), its pretty clear both teams were evenly matched.

Meh. It was last season so they should really just let it go.

I'm curious to see if Chris Paul's petulance level increases now that he has Lance and Josh Smith on the team. I love Smoove, but he isn't healthy for the ol' anxiety levels.

As for Sharp, pay him no mind. He shat on Harden and crew every chance he got last season.

Doc is basically saying he did a poor job of coaching. It's the coaches job to make sure his team doesn't take an opponent lightly. I don't think Doc is half the coach many in the media thinks he is. Rockets won the series. That is all.

I wish that Howard would have just slammed Paul onto the ground when he did that. Would have made it even more hilarious.

The Rockets slept on the Clippers early in the series.

The teams played 7 games and the Rockets won 4.

    Nothing else to discuss.

A team that won 56 games can't get your team's full attention? Sounds like bad coaching to me Doc.

    Chill Doc.

The Warriors would've beaten your 6 person squad by 30 every game.

Doc hit the nail on the head - he didn't take us seriously and failed because of that. His team thought they could coast after winning laughable games to go up 3-1, only to discover the same thing Barkley and the Suns discovered - it ain't over til you win the 4th game.

I wish Brewer or Harden could have sent him the kiss of death like Super Mario did in the epic game 7 of that series.

Doc's biggest problem is his team isn't wearing green and he aint in "da gahdden"...it is still eating him alive that they blew that game. And he wasn't a good enough coach for that team to get them to win one out of three games.

His team "not being prepared" for a playoff opponent is bad coaching

I could write about 5 paragraphs breaking down how dumb Doc statements are but I'm going to just chill.

Doc Rivers continues to lose more and more of my respect. That whole team is a bunch of ****bags. I'm so glad WE were the ones to stomp on their hearts.
