I know their players suck, but it doesn't help that Scott is running a Princeton/Triangle hybrid. The offense just looks horrible. They need to play with pace to try to get easy transition baskets. If they can't get an easy basket then run a play for Kobe.
All the playmakers and guys who can create their own shot are injured. Exceptions are Kobe and maybe Ronnie Price, who's the starting 1 but hasn't even secured a roster spot yet. Doesn't really matter what they run right now because the ball sticks 90% of the tine. Randle was pretty nice in the Princeton today though doing the drive and kick. He's just gotta stop barrelling into people.

I wonder if Ronnie Price will beat out Lin for a starting spot like Beverley did. He did look good defensively last game but this is preseason vs. Utah's reserves. Then again, Byron Scott is preaching defense so perhaps he will play a "defensive player" just to make a point whether or not it actually helps.
Both Lin and Parsons have perfected the headsnap to draw fouls from Harden. I wonder if their defense went to crap as well
Ronnie Price is not as good as Beveley but sometimes coaches fall in love with untalented players just because they do thing by the book and execute the coach's "vision" for the team. Let's just say that Byron Scott looks like that kind of coach and Ronnie Price looks like that kind of player.
Did price start over Jeremy tonight? I didn't watch the game but seems like he played more minutes lol
watched the game, he looked rusty -to- okay in 2nd qtr... then he starting ballin' in the 2nd half. The offense looks tailored for Lin to have "big" games (ala when with the knicks). Lots of pick & rolls with guys who can catch and finish (and shoot the midrange). The Randle kid seems to look him off a bit to score...might be a problem.
