Yep, I honestly didn't even see LeBron's alley-oop. My focus went from Yao on the floor and then straight to Keith Jones as he popped up from the bench and ran to help him.

That no-call also turned into a Yao turnover, a potential 4-point swing, and a Rockets momentum killer.

Absolutely horrible officiating by the refs..

From what I saw, big Z got the ball first then tripped Yao, so it was a good no call. My heart however cringed when Yao fell down hard. Luckiy he felt on his no-injured leg.

I don't think so. It's a foul no doubt. But I need to review the video.

you do not throw yourself down infront of a guy to do it, no matter how clean the strip. That is just plain dangerous

Yea I think Z did get the ball first and then fell on Yao's path.

I think he was falling down himself first and made that heady play. It's a good play on his part, accident or not. I dont think he practice that kind of move. Also it's dangerous for him too.

The refs will call a trip on you even if you fall down acidentally and trip someone. This was a BAD NON CALL. let's have Shane do thata couple of times in front of lebron or Bowne doing that to Kobe a couple of times and see what the league does.

Are you serious or just being sarcastic? It sure looks like a clean tackle.

    In football game

He tackled Yao like a linebacker tackled a running back!  For a minute I thought I was watching Texans playing Browns.

This guy should be punished!! period!

It wasn't dirty. Just bad luck, but it could be a blessing b/c he had to deal with going down and he was fine. Monkey off his back

I just re-watched the play several more times. The ball stripping by Big Z was clean. But Yao didn't fall down himself, he was tripped by Big Z who had already been on the ground.

Your post, however, is ridiculous by all means.

If that's a legal move, then NBA better allow each team to have 30 player on the team.

If Yao didn't lose the ball, that woulda been a foul. But Yao got stripped and fell over Zeke who was already on the ground.

I just wish Yao had made big Z his landing zone. Shiat, imagine his 300 pounds dropped on that dead meat.
