Deadspin publishes these articles every year before the NFL season from a "haters" perspective of why our favorite teams suck. Today happen to be the Texans. Hope you'll enjoy, try not to take it to heart lol

I'm never offended or bothered by these, but they are never funny, yet they do them every year.

Good idea, usually terrible execution. But I guess people seem to enjoy them.

Not really, don't think it has anything to do with that.

They are just trying to be the TMZ on sports but without much resources to go after the first hand materials and hence the only thing they can do is to be as much as an ******* they can be.

Yeah, not really funny. I expected better. Hell, I've seen better satire posted by our own CF members.

I can't wait for that QB Facebook conversation to start being posted. Now THAT is funny. They should have a field day with whoever ends up starting for us.

Your complex is showing. Going after, arguably, the most visible NFL player for reasons that are apolitical is not a "left wing" bias.

Not really one of the better ones. You really only have so much material. Watt is an easy target because he's everywhere. The city is full of fat people. The QBs here suck and have always sucked.

The Raiders one, I laugh at that but I also cry inside because I know there is too much truth to all of it.

The funniest part of the article is the fan quotes.

I think it would be funny if it was closer to accurate but none of it makes sense. Its obvious the writer has never watched a Texans game or been in the city of Houston. Its just annoying, the fake fan stuff was humorous but other than that you can cut and paste Houston with any other city and it would probably make more sense

The fan quotes are all legitimate. In fact they posted my comments without edit in their piece.

13 years, it's time the football gods start blessing our organization. we don't want to be like those losers in new england who had to wait 26 years to reach a superbowl game.

Same! I think people are missing the mark here: Drew does this every year and he doesn't pretend to know each team intimately. The true "insight" and self-loathing is found in the fan-submitted comments.
