Which pixel was the defense?

 

The reason why he doesn't play D in the regular season is because he doesn't care about regular season. I'm ok with that why should he waste his energy playing D and then become Paul George when the playoffs start?

 

Harden doesn't care about the regular season? He seems to care a lot about scoring his points. You realize that if he played better D, we can have a better record and be the 3rd or even 2nd seed in the playoffs ?

 

Um are you serious? Harden was guarding old Kobe in the post. Obviously he can take him. Harden is one of the best post defenders in the NBA(stats actually back this up).

 

I agree. Harden is one if those guys who plays defense when it is time to get serious. Obviously I don't expect him to be lockdown and there will be some moments where he is caught ball watching, but I expect a more two way James Harden.

Just based off observations from the video, there is no evidence that Harden will be able to check penetrating guards.

I'm glad his post defense is solid though, but let's be real. Harden's perimeter D is just trash.

 

James Harden will do it his way whether you like it or not. He will NEVER go all out the entire regular season on D. You can go follow another team if you want, because Harden isn't going anywhere...

 

The defense will be much, much better... not close to M.J. But he'll have Dwight or Asik there in the halfcourt playoff game defensively which will make a dramatic difference. Look out though because James is about to go M.J. offensively ....Okay, I said it. James is going to do what we've seen and more....taking it up another level.

The Beard is going to show everyone who doesn't already get it, that he is THE MAN. From this postseason on, this future legend will always be mentioned in the top three with KD and LBJ.

 

We're playing Kobe and the Lakers this playoffs? Harden better step it up as well as his merry bunch. This is playoff time.

 

Reality check: Harden sucks on defense and can't score when he's not getting the calls.
