I recommended this a while ago and got shot down by our fellow Rocket brothers and sisters as well. With what is left out there I can't think of anyone better with playoff experience and whose game is still growing. I would not do it if it cost us KJ though.

He'd start here. Was incredible against us

 

I'm not saying he should start(maybe over time depending on performance), but I do think he could be points off the bench(a heat check guy) and another offensive creator in the back court. The way I see it now is Patbev is the starter on that contract. So the question on rivers would be do you want him over Nick Johnson, Prigioni, or Terry. I would have to say Rivers .

He is way underrated , he is better than what we have for the past 2 years

 

His only hope is his dad. Of course there could be an insane GM out there that will offer him the vet minimum, like the Kings. Rivers is far far below a replacement level player in the NBA.
