I think the texans should use one of their late picks on this guy. I like him cause he plays with a chip on his shoulder and I think he will be a productive starter in this league. He is getting lost in the shuffle with all of these good QBs but think he will be the best pro along with Moore after Luck and Griffin. Not sold on Tannenhill. Just my two cents.

He will be a 7th round/undrafted type player. I don't think he will make in the NFL cause his size and the system he played in college inflated his stats big time.

He really should just go straight into college coaching.

Would love to have him as a grad assistant here, then QB coach, then OC.

But a few years holding clipboards in the NFL wouldn't hurt him.

draft him in the 6th round. You teach him the ways of the kubiak O and unleash him in future preseason games, then you trade him for a 2nd round pick in 2016.

If he's available late, I hope we grab him. Then again... I can see ignorant fans chanting for him if Schaub is having an off night.

I'm a huge Keenum fan, but don't think he's gonna be a starter in the NFL. Arm strength and size are huge concerns. He wants to get into coaching anyway so the NFL gig is just gonna be a resume builder

I bleed Cougar red, but I don't think the UH fans are quite as delusional as other fanbases. (The Texans didn't draft my guy...I will hate them forever and ever!!!)

I think most Cougar fans wouldn't expect Case to see the field unless it's a T.J Yates/last man standing situation.

The whole size argument is overrated. According to their combine results, Case Keenum is an inch taller than Drew Brees. I think Brees has done just fine with his "lack of size".

Brees has an NFL arm, Keenum does not.

Don't necessarily know about arm strength but Keenum seemed to hit Patrick Edwards in stride on bombs more often this past season than Schaub did throwing deep to Andre. Not saying Keenum is better (far from it), but I don't remember UH receivers having to wait for the ball to get there too often.

Be better off taking Pat Edwards in the 5th rd as a #3/ return specialist.

    I'd rather have Russell Wilson

Brees is one of the very few exceptions to that philosophy.

I just saw the Gruden QB camp with Keenum on ESPNU. It was not very flattering. I would love to see Keenum succeed in the NFL but I really don't see that happening.

He's just not that talented IMO. White & Chang had more coming out.

That's like saying since Muggsy Bogues was successful, height doesn't matter in the NBA.

I'd say that more important than blind homerism is the fact that there aren't that many Cougar fans. Certainly not nearly the level of UT/A&M fans in Houston. So the Texans probably have nothing to worry about.

That said, the Texans seem to look for specific traits in QBs for their system. I think Keenum would be a possibility if the Texans see something in him that they like. But that's probably unlikely.
