Again - its the market size (and love/hate the country has with the Dallas Cowboys). They have already expanded to Boston (Houston should be on the radar...as part of the ESPN world domination plan - just comes in time) here is the list of market sizes http://www.sportstvjobs.com/resources/local-tv-market-sizes-dma.html
I mean damn! Then they'll go on talking about how Dallas folk have an inferiority complex and are always trying to measure their city and their teams to Houston and our sports teams. SMH.
Go to any other message board not LA or NY and you will get a bunch of people who swear there's an anti-my city conspiracy.
Dallas has the most popular NFL team, an MLB, NHL and NBA team. Houston lacks an NHL team and the Texans aren't anywhere close to being as popular as the Cowboys. Common sense.
This is false. The anti-my city conspiracy can be found on NY message boards as well. Dallas is a larger media market than Houston. Dallas is a better sports media market than Houston.
Half the city of Houston can't even see their hometown basketball team play! What a joke, why would ESPN bother?
