that's a steal!!! we should have focus just on Lowry + Gasol as our primary recruit this offseason. acquiring Lowry+Gasol would have been as good as Bosh signing

 

What? Lowry was literally the first guy Morey and McHale met with when free agency began. Gasol had absolutely no interest in coming here to play with Dwight.

 

Great move by Chicago. They did well after missing on Melo. Noah and Gasol together should mesh really well. Both can pass, both can shot. Noah's energy makes up for Gasol being soft.

Lowry signed because he wanted his deal resolved quickly and Morey wanted to wait on the bigger names.
